FARO Focus MS120 Laser Scanner multisensor from today include:

Compass (Compass) The new FARO Focus3D-Multi Sensor is equipped with an electronic compass. Attaching orientation data to each scan is a great contribution to successful automatic registration.
Height Sensor Each scan is now accompanied by height information. This is useful, for example, for scans of different floors of a building which can then be distinguished thanks to the height data.
Dual Axis Compensator Focus3D is equipped with a dual axis compensator and the scans thus make use of level information. This tool reveals its usefulness in minimizing the number of targets used and improving automatic registration.

FEATURES OF THE FOCUS 3D

The FARO Focus3D is a revolutionary, non-contact laser scanner for 3D modeling and documentation that can be operated simply and intuitively via an integrated touchscreen display. In addition to the touch interface, features such as its minimal size and weight make the Focus3D easy to use and allows you to save up to half the scan time compared with conventional 3D laser scanners.

The new FARO Focus 3D scanner offers different power options:

1- each scanner is equipped with a removable and rechargeable internal battery
2- finally it is possible to use the power supply supplied connected to the electricity mains.

COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN

With its compact design and low weight (less than 5 kg for scanner and battery), the Faro Focus 3D laser scanner is absolutely a portable measurement system. A standard tripod is the only additional equipment that is needed for scanning.
