ROTALIGN smart EX uses a single laser and a 5-axis sensor. The ROTALIGN EX sensor contains two fully-linearized XL HD position sensitive detectors and a MEMS inclinometer to precisely measure the exact position of the laser beam as the shafts are rotated.

ROTALIGN smart EX is the ultimate laser shaft alignment system designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in accordance with ATEX and IECEx regulations. It comes in a robust light-aluminum case which is also certified.
The system is fully packed with powerful capabilities. With Concurrent Live Move, only one measurement is required to perform the required machine adjustments: no matter the position of the sensor on the shaft, Live Move enables to concurrently monitor the vertical and horizontal machine corrections live on the screen. This is extremely useful in case of restricted access to predefined shaft positions.
PDF reports can be generated and directly saved from the system onto a USB stick.
The optional wireless Bluetooth module is certified ATEX/IECEx. It allows wireless data transmission from the sensor to the computer. This is a unique capability of PRUFTECHNIK alignment systems for hazardous areas.
