Niton Apollo Handheld LIBS Analyzer

Niton Apollo Handheld LIBS Analyzer is the new portable LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) analyzer. It completes the range of Niton X-ray fluorescence analyzers. With its two available programs, Niton Apollo meets a growing demand from industry for fast (10 seconds) and accurate measurement of carbon concentrations in low-alloy steels and stainless steel. Niton Apollo has been designed to monitor the structures of all plants with a production line in order to analyze the composition of pipes, valves and tanks instantly and to verify that no non-conforming alloys are entering the manufacturing process.

Apollo LIBS analyzer designed for the field

The Apollo LIBS spectrometer is designed to allow operators to make measurements directly in the field. It works with Argon cartridges. The analysis is simple and fast, the results are displayed instantly on the tiltable touch screen. The batteries can be changed while hot. Thanks to the CCD camera integrated in the head of the device, you can integrate the samples in the analysis report.
